My business is what my son likes to call old school, for him our business software systems are old school and we should be looking to get a Web Development company to supply us with some good ECommerce Software.

I am only 45 years old and when someone says that you are old school it’s a little scary because I feel I am in the prime of my life, and I felt that my business was in the prime of its life as well, until I asked my son why he thought I was so old school.  I should have expected the answer as he asked me why my cell phone was still the size of a terracotta brick, with 11 buttons on it (10 for numbers and 1 for #), why all my files are still considered manila folders, and how I always have a pen in my ear for changing information in those old school manila folders.  But still, those aren’t old school right?  Well when he asked me for homework help on his computer and I had no idea what I was doing when it came to the Internet.  I knew that he was on to something, so I decided to ask my employees what they thought of our technology in our workplace.  They said the same thing.  They have been waiting for just the idea of Business Management Software and made suggestion after suggestion about how we can become a better company with all the new web development opportunities and all the new products that are available out there, they all just wanted to get their hands on some of it and seeing what it could possibly do, I was no exception.  Web development and business management software were great tools to expanding my business and I haven’t even noticed them.  This was my warning.
